[dentistry.unsoed.ac.id, Rab, 14/12/2016] Jurusan Kedokteran Gigi Fakultas Kedokteran UNSOED kembali melahirkan dokter gigi baru. Sebanyak 8 orang mahasiswa pendidikan Profesi Kedokteran Gigi melakukan pengambilan Sumpah Dokter Gigi periode VII di Aula Fakultas Kedokteran, Rabu (14/12). Mereka adalah drg. Aulia Laras Kusuma Hidayat, drg. Sahidda Haq, drg. Oktalia Ika Puspia, drg. Asyidqyana Irsadita, drg. Dinar Ardhananeswari, drg. Ari Wahyuda, drg. Tika Hestiana, dan drg. Dwi Nur Hiqmah. Jurusan Kedokteran Gigi yang berdiri tahun 2008 hingga saat ini telah meluluskan dokter gigi sebanyak 51 dokter gigi.
Wakil Rektor Bidang Akademik, Prof. Dr. Ir. Mas Yedi Sumaryadi, M.S., dalam sambutannya menyampaikan ucapan selamat kepada para dokter gigi yang dikukuhkan dan diambil sumpahnya. Prof Yedi menekankan pentingnya seorang dokter gigi untuk selalu berpikir dan berkarya untuk profesi dan pengabdiannya kepada masyarakat dimanapun berada. Senada dengan yang disampaikan oleh Ketua Majelis Kode Etik PDGI Banyumas, drg. Sutomo Tirtosudarmo MS., dokter gigi tidak hanya berani jika ditempatkan di daerah terpencil, harus berjiwa sosial tinggi dan humanis agar memiliki makna yang lebih mendalam bagi masyarakat.

Acara ditutup dengan doa dan pemberian ucapan selamat dari seluruh tamu undangan kepada para Dokter Gigi Baru Universitas Jenderal Soedirman.
